From Slide Rule to the Cloud: Redesigning High School Education
Once upon a time long ago, high school science teachers were quick to show their students how to use a slide rule. Today we have Moodle, Blackboard, mobile devices and “the cloud.” Yet how much has really changed? Let’s get it done! In this presentation, see the new enhanced lockdown process called A.L.I.C.E., which is being implemented in schools throughout our country. This new process focuses on empowering teachers and students to make decisions based upon the information that they have in a school intruder situation.
